📌 Manazith Capsule 250 mg (Azithromycin)
💊 An antibiotic in the macrolide group that works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, stopping bacterial growth and ultimately killing the bacteria.

Used to treat bacterial infections such as:

Pharyngitis, tonsillitis

Otitis media (middle ear infection)

Sinusitis

Pneumonia, bronchitis

Skin infections

Certain sexually transmitted diseases such as gonorrhea and chlamydia

💊 General Dosage & Administration

Adults: Day 1 – 500 mg; then 250 mg once daily for the next 4 days

In some cases: 500 mg once daily for 3 days (as determined by a doctor)

Children: Dosage adjusted according to body weight

Always complete the prescribed course even if symptoms improve
